Sending a link via text or email isn’t always practical, though—sometimes you have to share links on your paper bulletin or announcement slides. Then the challenge becomes getting people to actually type those URLs into their browsers on the spot.
We realized link-sharing might not be the best way for some churches to share public pages, so we created an alternative: QR codes!
In a nutshell, QR codes are graphics people can scan with their phones and be taken directly to the page associated with the code.
To get started, scroll to the very bottom of any of your public pages and click the grey Shareable Code link, then Download QR Code.
Once you’ve downloaded the code you can incorporate it into print materials like your bulletin, small group cards, and flyers, as well as on your TV monitors and kiosks in your lobby or foyer—anywhere someone can scan the code with their phone.
This feature is live in People, Groups, Registrations, and Giving, so give it a try! If you have any questions, let us know, we are always happy to help.
A shout out to one of our support managers, Reagan, who came up with this idea, and to one our developers on the Giving team, Daniel, who dedicated a portion of his free weeks* to make this project happen!
Hope this helps!
